2010 Essay Contest Topic

It is January 2015. What do you see as the major health policy challenges still facing the nation? Please identify the top two priorities and discuss how they should be addressed.

Review and Evaluation:

Submissions from undergraduates and graduates will be judged separately. Finalists will be chosen by national health policy experts, Jonathan Cohn of the New Republic, Sheila Burke of Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Congressional staffer Ruth Katz, and Drew Altman and Diane Rowland of the Kaiser Family Foundation.
