Catherine Hoffman, ScD, RN
Dr. Hoffman is the Senior Researcher for the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured and also serves as an adjunct professor at UC-San Francisco. She has focused her health services research career on the low-income population, racial and ethnic minorities, and those living with chronic health conditions. Most of her current research focuses on the lack of health insurance and disparities in access to health care among these vulnerable groups. Dr. Hoffman builds her health policy and research work on her earlier career as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in cardiac care.
